Long awaited and much anticipated, the Droid Bionic is now available through Verizon Wireless. It costs around $179.99 with a new contract but it's certainly a fast phone. It operates with Android Gingerbread 2.3.4 and a dual core 1 GHz processor. It provides 4G connectivity (4GLTE), wireless-N Wi-Fi networking, and optional Wi-Fi Mobile Hotspot service.
The Bionic features a 4.3" qHD multi-touch display and a built in 8 megapixel digital camera with LED flash. It can also record full HD (1080p) video. This phone also offers a front facing camera for video chat. It's a good phone for professionals with a variety of security features including remote wipe as well as device and data encryption. There are also a number of productivity tools, HTML5 and Adobe support, corporate and personal e-mail, and much more. With the optional laptop dock functionality is further expanded.
The phone provides 5 customizable homescreens, Bluetooth stereo music, multi-player gaming, and 16GB of storage plus a microSD expansion slot.
